I've just recently got a new computer, which is running Windows 7 Home Premium. My old laptop was also running Windows 7 Home Premium.
I was using IE8 on my laptop, and I had Internet Explorer pinned to the taskbar. I was able to pin other websites to the taskbar, so when I right-clicked the IE icon it displayed my pinned websites above my frequent websites. I could do this just by dragging the favicon to the IE icon.
However, on my computer I now have IE9.beta, and I cannot seem to pin websites to the IE icon anymore. I've tried going back to IE8, but it seems that I cannot pin websites to the IE icon on that, either.
Just to clarify, pinning websites to the IE icon in the taskbar isn't the same as IE9.b's new feature of pinning websites to the taskbar. The pinned websites appear when you right-click the IE icon in the taskbar, above the Frequent websites visited.
Does anyone know how I can pin websites to the IE icon, whilst using IE9 beta, without cluttering up my taskbar?
Thanks in advance.
